The Main Floor

The Neighbourhood

Cedardale, at the eastern edge of West Vancouver

Cedardale is the eastern end of West Vancouver — the pocket between Taylor Way and the Capilano River — and the District uses the name itself. Klee Wyck Park sits 330 metres from the door: six acres of a former estate given to the District in 1960 by Dr. Ethlyn Trapp, who named it for her friend Emily Carr, a frequent visitor there. Park Royal, Ambleside Village and the Lions Gate Bridge are each about four minutes away, and the Highway 1 on-ramp at Capilano Road is closer still.
